WE NEED YOUR HELP!! Save The Orcas is now fundraising for our 2009 Operating Fund. This fund enables us to maintain our organization's yearly operations. Money from this fund is used for paying the basic bills, such as telephone, web hosting, postage, email list provider, survey provider, and so on. Without this fund, Save The Orcas cannot exist. Save The Orcas is an all volunteer-based organization, we maintain home offices and use telecommuting tools to stay connected. Because of our low overhead, we are able to operate on an annual budget of $4,500. This is the current amount of funding needed in order for us to remain present in the ongoing new year. We are aware that many of our supporters are suffering financially due to an unstable economy; which is why we've put together several creative ways for you to assist us in this fundraising drive. Of course, if you are able to make a cash donation, we'd certainly welcome any amount you could provide. The minimum donation amount for our organization is $10.00. We have some pretty big plans for 2009, jam packed with lots of exciting projects and events.
